This file, SFReadMe.txt, accompanies the release of the application

		ShowFlow 2 version 2.11 for Windows 3.1x

and contains installation instructions and current information about 
recent changes or additions to ShowFlow.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

0.  Make a backup copy of the ShowFlow distribution diskette.

1.  Insert the ShowFlow distribution diskette into any diskette drive.
    For the purposes of instruction, assume you have chosen drive A:

2.  On the hard disk, create a directory for ShowFlow, with the 
    command

		C:> MD C:\SHOWFLOW

    This name is a suggested, though any directory name will work.

3.  Copy all of the files from the diskette to the new directory on 
    the hard disk, with the command

		C:> COPY A:\*.* C:\SHOWFLOW

4.  ShowFlow is now installed and is ready to be run from Windows.  

5.  The ShowFlow program may be run from the Windows Program Manager,
    and may be added to a Program Manager Group just as any other
    Windows program.  This may be done by either choosing the File 
    New Program Item option from the Program Manager's File menu, or 
    by dragging the file SHOWFLOW.EXE to a Program Manager Group.

    The help file SFHELP.WRI may be added similarly.

PACKING LIST OF FILES:

	SHOWFLOW.EXE	The ShowFlow 2 Windows program.

	SSGPLUME.EXE	The SSGPlume groundwater model, 
			running under DOS.  
			ShowFlow 2 v 2.10 requires SSGPlume 3.4.

	SFHELP.WRI	A Windows Write help file for ShowFlow.

	SSGPHELP.WRI	A Windows Write help file for SSGPlume.

	TESTDATA.*	These are sample data files for ShowFlow.

	SFREADME.TXT	This text file contains information about the 
			installation of ShowFlow, as well as any new 
			information and changes.

OTHER INFORMATION:

	The data file used by ShowFlow 2 and the model is incompatible
    with other editions of ShowFlow (ShowFlow 3, ShowFlow 4, etc.)

	Further information about using ShowFlow is available by 
    reading file SFHELP.WRI, a Windows Write document.  This document
    is retrieved as the standard Help facility for ShowFlow, and 
    is accessed by pressing the F1 key while using ShowFlow.

	Although ShowFlow is copyrighted, the program may be freely 
    copied and implemented.  

	The ShowFlow software and documentation are provided "as is" 
    without guarantee or warranty of any kind, expressed or implied.
    The author will not be liable for damages, losses, or claims  
    consequent to use of this software or documentation.
